The lock down announced on Friday 27th March meant that our course staff could no longer carry our the critical maintenance of our greens, tees and fairways. We have been working alongside the Irish Golf Club Managers Association, the GUI / ILGU and Golf Ireland to make our case to the Government. Thankfully, the Government have confirmed that we can continue maintenance of the course as long as Covid-19 safety measures are observed. The course staff continue to work in 3 man shifts on alternative days so that when golf can resume, the course will be in top condition.
